Tough Pups

Woof! It's been awhile since I've posted, but man oh man have I been busy with the newest edition to our house. Frida is a Chorkie (or is she a Yorkchi???) and I'm still trying to work out the logistics of having to share EVERYTHING with her. B****! We just ordered some cool leashes from TOUGH PUPS, and just had to share this hilarious video with you! Get ready to laugh!

San Carlos

Yes, that is pure glee on my face as I run at full speed on the beach in San Carlos. It was soooo much fun! Oh yeah, and Frida came with us. She's the dog with long crazy hair.

I thought that she was just going to hang out with us, but it turns out that she came home with us and has been here ever since!! I'm still working on the idea of somedog to share my place and person with....I'll have to keep you posted. In the meantime, there are lots of great memories of sand and salty air to keep me going for awhile. We met some other Chihuahuas while we were there...There was Paco who peed all over the beach chairs, and Bella who was even smaller than me! I think that I was driving everybody crazy by barking at EVERYBODY walking by on the beach, but I had to tell them whose beach it was. MINE! 

Feliz Cinco de Mayo!

Well, tomorrow we will be up in Chandler continuing our celebration of el Cinco de Mayo. Most people think that Cinco de Mayo is Mexico's Independence Day, but really it marks the day of the annual Chihuahua races. Viva la Chihuahua!! 

Still not THE cutest!

Although my fans may say otherwise, I have yet to win a photo contest. Once again, I am only an honorable mention. Again. Maybe it's not the subject matter but the photographer that needs some work?

OUCH!!!

I went to get a checkup and my shots today. A small price to pay for the exciting trip to Mexico next week!! Or so I thought. The vet was so thoughtful and even went to get the tiniest needle because I'm so tiny (says HIM!). But when he gave me the injection it went all over the tech's shirt because the needle went in one side and out the other. Hello, I don't have much of a scruff! So then he had to give me another one so the medicine would go into me. Two for the price of one, ha! I came home and slept, and when I woke up I was so sore that I cried a little. Hmmmph.
